Materials & Applications FAQ
Q: What materials are used for lamp lenses?
A: Clear lenses commonly use PMMA (acrylic; high clarity and weathering) or PC (high impact resistance); housings commonly use ABS. Different shrinkage rates are exactly what multi-shot mold design must compensate for.
Q: Besides automotive lamps, what else can you make?
A: Our core is automotive lighting (headlamps, tail lamps, motorcycle lamps), but the same precision applies to grilles, cooling fans, IMD parts, and other plastic parts requiring dimensional stability and complex structure.
Q: Can you make aftermarket (AM) lamp molds?
A: Yes. We build AM lamp molds, typically addressing the market with "compatible with [vehicle model]" applications.
